Apple’s iTunes Store launched as a music-only store, but it carries all sorts of digital entertainment today, including applications
and e-books. The store, Apple announced, will have sold ten billion songs in nearly seven years since its inception, an average of over four million songs a day. To celebrate the milestone, Apple has launched a 10 billion songs countdown. You don’t even have to buy or download anything, just apply by filling out an online form.
