About The Next Web
The Next Web launched in January 2008 as a spin off of The Next Web Conference. Soon after, the site took a life of its own and the potential for a technology site from an international perspective became a reality. The growth of the site over the past year has been a testament to that, and we now currently serve 750,000 unique visitors a month.
It has since grown into a network of over 20 blogs consisting of:
- International Blogs: A number of “glocal” blogs with technology news in their own language from blogs across the globe.
- Continent Blogs: with news in English bringing you technology news from across the worlds continents.
- Channels: Focused on select topics including apps, Apple and Viral Sensations.
While we pride ourselves on highlighting quality startups and bringing our readers up to date news. Where we really aim to stand out from other technology blogs, is by bringing news and views from an international perspective. With writers across Europe, Australasia, Middle East, Africa, Asia and North & South America., you can rest arrused that if it’s worth hearing about – you’ll hear it from us.
