The Next Web Blog, first started in 2006 at The Next Web Conference, is a weblog that reports on everything that influences the future of the Web, in any way.
What do we write about?

We profile interesting products, start-ups and existing companies that are building The Next Web, or the future of the internet as we know it (or Web 2.0, whatever you like). We have an international view on news – we won’t limit our coverage just to the Valley. Our main goal is to keep you up-to-date, inspire you and give you new ideas. Maybe even persuade you to start contributing to the next web yourself.

What about the conference?
The Next Web Blog is closely associated with The Next Web Conference which is held annually in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. At this event speakers from all over the world come together to talk about, and show of, the future of the Web. Who are the guys in the White Suits?
Fleck.com is a company founded by some of the founders of The Next Web Conference & Blog. They wanted to promote their company in a cheap but distinctive way so they bought white suits and started wearing them to industry events. One day they woke up Michael Arrington at his house, in white suits, which ended up as a story in Wired magazine. “Michael Arrington was sound asleep in his bedroom in Atherton, California, when three men burst in. Naturally, he was startled. His first reaction, he recalls, was to tell them to “get the fuck out.” But he quickly realized they meant no harm. Clad in white business suits and speaking English with a Dutch accent, the apologetic men looked more like dandies on their way to a garden party than criminals.”
