The flashy part of AI is the models. The expensive, unglamorous part is feeding them the right enterprise data without drowning in cost. DataBahn has raised $40m, led by Insight Partners, to sell an “agentic data control plane” that governs what data AI agents can reach. The catch: it is a crowded field, and the category is still one DataBahn has to prove is real.
