Apple Pay now accepted at over 2 million retail locations

Apple Pay now accepted at over 2 million retail locations

Apple Pay is now available at over two million retail locations, and is currently rolling out to Chick Fil A, Au Bon Pair and Crate & Barrel.

In-app, online shoe retailer Zappos is also expected to work Apple Pay into the mix for checkout.

Just yesterday, Square’s new NFC card reader became available in Apple Sores nationwide, which should serve to accelerate the growth of mobile payments. Similarly, other retailers like KFC and Starbucks are planning Apple Pay integration sometime this year.

If you’re not sure where Apple Pay is accepted, I suggest downloading Pay Finders. It’s an app that lets you know which retailers in your area accept Apple Pay, which should help cut through the fog a bit.
