You saw the news, you read the specs on the device, all we need to see now is how this Nexus One does on all counts, against all comers.
Is this phone worth buying? How does it stack up against other Android devices? Does it best the Pre? And of course, does it give a blow to the iPhone 3GS? Many do hope that it does, given the rising clamor against ATT, and the lingering annoyance in the App store approval process.
Good news, BillShrink has put together yet another amazing chart comparing the four top smartphones. Of course, Google claims that the Nexus One is a “superphone.” We shall see, it is yours to judge. Image after the jump.

Nice comparison … another thing to add would be the savings if you buy the phone on a credit card as opposed to having the mobile carrier finance it for you.
You’re paying your mobile carrier about 36% APR on that $350 bucks you’re “saving” when agreeing to a 2 year contract.
The difference in price between t-mobile’s month to month plan and 2 year contract plan is $20 a month. So if you have a credit card with less than a 36% APR on it, put the $350 on a card and pay it off over 2 years plus not be stuck on a 2 year commitment with a carrier.
It’s not much but you save about $100 over 2 years.
So what Turn by Turn solution for the iPhone are you referring to in the chart? As far as I know there is no out of the box solution … it’s a paid upgrade via 3rd party app.
Graph is made by apple fanboys for sure. The Nexus screen is surpassingly better then iPhone’s, the iPhone has limited storage, Nexus is expandable.
Nice mashup, but it doesn’t say anything about how it stacks up or if it’s worth buying.

Yes, the iPhone has limited storage, but my iPhone has the maximum storage capacity of the nexus – 32 GB. But I have to ask where they are getting their pricing from. My plan is 1400 mins, unlimited text and unlimited data, and including taxes is only $109/month. And yes, this is for my carrier subsidized iPhone 3G S.
I fear credit cards, and use them only for hotels.
