Patrick Swayze is dead, not @Patrick

@Patrick is not dead

Patrick is getting excessive amounts of replies talking about his death.

We have good news: Patrick is alive.
We also have bad news: Patrick Swayze IS dead.

I’m sure it will be good for @Patrick’s followers count though.

I tried to persuade Patrick to start impersonating Patrick Swayze but he thinks it will be bad for his karma.

Guess that is one of the downside of having your first name as your twitter name.

  • I think it is the right time to get a verified account. Tomorrow I'm at Twitter offices, so I'll bring it up.
    Patrick Swayze rocked!
  • Roy Tomeij
    I know the problem. Always get numerous tweets for random @roy's who are not me :P
  • I can't wait until Samuel L Jackson dies.
  • Wow, that sounded so harsh! Until I checked your Twitter account. :-)
  • Peter Huesken
    No noticable effect yet:

    I thought I choose my twiter id wisely, a long time ago (@nph), until Neil Patrick Harris rose to stardom...
