Thanks to a bunch of new cases being made in China for the next versions of the iPod Touch and Nano. It seems pretty much a certainty that the iPod touch will get a camera (oddly enough, placed in the centre of the device), but even more unexpected is news of a camera coming to the iPod Nano too.
Dimensions seem almost identical to before, except the Nano has a wider screen display, presumably to help with taking better photographs.
Chinese manufacturers are so confident of the upcoming devices that they are already selling the items to American resellers.
The case designs were revealed via photos acquired by Apple blog, Cult of Mac. Visit the site for many more shots.

This would make me buy an iTouch if the camera was already built in. Apple knows this but likes to yank our chains and wallets. I’m betting this will cost more monet for both tho.
well on this other website i saw that the new ipod touch 3 generation 16 gb would cost $230 the same as the 2nd generation 8 gb and the nano 16 gb $150 so thats twice the memory for the same price, a great deal for the mic, camera and twice the memory for the same price and i just need to wait a couple of months
OOOoo!!! Look! Another device to have a camera, to go along with my phone that has a camera, my new DSi, and my camera has a built in camera now!! Yay!!
Yes it’s true I actually bought a iPod 3g case for a accident and it has the camera hole on it.but the iPod still fits inside soo that’s great
