Former TV superman stars in Microsoft’s uncomfortably funny IE 8 ad’s

These brand new IE 8 Ads from Microsoft lie somewhere ‘bizarre but funny’ and ‘uncomfortably untruthful’ but as odd as they are, they’re undoubtedly a step up for Microsoft. First, they’ve got viral potential all over them and second, heck at least you get the message… shame the same couldn’t be said for the Seinfeld/Gates ads.

  • They still are complete nuts
  • I think use of the word 'lame' is appropriate here.

    Also, Dean Cain is looking old with a chubby fat face :(
  • I'm still rather appalled that Microsoft is promoting the use of non-work related internet use in the work place. Fire that obnoxious cow >:-O
  • AJ LoFranco
    True to life. Very funny. Who is that guy? Doesn't matter. I remember IE8.
  • Diederik
    @maarten
    > where can I find IE8 for the mac?? I’m so confused now

    IE8 for the Mac is called Safari. :)
  • benb
    Funny ad. But the arguments are +/- 3 years old. What a pity ...
  • Das
  • I think you gave them too much credit. Not very funny and not very motivating. It's a lame attempt to get people to use a lame browser.
  • What agency does Microsoft use for their ads? It's one epic fail after another!
