Here’s a interesting take from a 1969 TV show predicting the emergence of the internet and how life would be in the future.
Sure enough, we do use the web for shopping, banking and document exchange – so in that respect, it’s not all too far off. Of course, there’s no mention of pop up windows, spam, pornography and hackers.

Yep, nice video. I collect these “history of the future” video’s. This one was made in 1967, in a series. They tried to predict how life would be in 1999. See how they diddnt predict emancipation: they ‘invented’ a system that the man of the house still could pay the bills. Also watch the “PC’s” with the looks of a radio of that time.
