Upload Cinema: Typo-Film

Upload Cinema takes the best of the web to the big screen. Every first Monday of the month a fresh program of inspiring and entertaining internet shorts is screened at Movie Theater De Uitkijk in Amsterdam. Each month there is a new theme. The audience can submit videos; an editorial team selects the best.

Typo-Film, in collaboration with the Graphic Design Museum and International Film Festival Breda, was all about the combined power of written word and moving image. The show was a funky mix of music videos, info graphics, title sequences of motion pictures and of course, type movies made especially for the web. From 152 films entered 38 films were selected for the big screen.

The next edition of Upload Cinema will be about ‘Death on the Web’. Submit your suggestions at the Upload Cinema website.
