Smart move! Make a joke, alert everyone to your serious product. Gotta remember that for our next product launch! :-)
Wow, that is even better!!!
Turns out the actual Flutter (http://flutter.freshout.us) is Freshout’s WordPress plugin, which turns the WordPress backend into a full CMS…we’ve been getting a ton of traffic from people thinking the 26-character nanoblogging tool is a real product, kinda hilarious and random ;)
The funny part is Freshout had nothing to do with the Flutter parody video – we found out about it through mashable.com over the weekend, and noticed our site getting hit pretty hard right afterward. Pure random coincidence – especially interesting that they used a hummingbird for the [fake] logo, and we use a hummingbird for the real Flutter logo :D
Flutter’s been out for less than a day and its already got competition….
