It has just come to my attention via Lifehacker that Gmail have now removed one of the most frustrating aspects of Gmail… The “on behalf of” that appears in Outlook, Hotmail and other email clients when sending from a secondary email address in your GMail account, is now gone!
It has always been one of those small, yet annoying and extremely significant features that would often make your emails look highly unprofessional – particularly for businesses.
Now you can ,without any hesitation, use one GMail account for all your email addresses – sending and receiving – without anyone discovering what your main default “aggregator” email address is. Wonderful.
