Gmail is having serious troubles and loads of people are complaining that Gmail is down. Just go to search.twitter.com and check out how fast this is spreading. While writing this short post 1033 2061 people have mentioned it on Twitter!

No email today, maybe we can get some real work done :)

Update: apparently this is a worldwide problem. Google has not responded yet.
Update: the IMAP functionality of Gmail does work

    I am in India and its working fine for me. Both Gmail and Google Mail for Apps are working fine on the Web. I dont use IMAP or POP and was expecting some important mail. You scared the hell out of me. But its working for me

    It looks like it will be long time in beta I should change it!
    Of course we can't use the beta for important mails. How stupid I was. I did that and now can't read an important letter that I need.

    I am in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - and it is down! The funny thing is Google Apps started working sometime back, but GMail (personal) hasn't yet.

    Kinda makes wonder if having everything online is a safe bet afterall!
