Bernie Bamford, a British aeronautical engineer, believes he may have the fabled lost city of Atlantis on the ocean floor.
Using Google Earth, the discovered grid has been found about 620 miles off west Africa in an area called the Madeira Abyssal Plane.
Atlantis Experts said that the unexplained grid is located at one of the possible sites of the legendary island, once described by ancient Greek philosopher Plato. According to Plato, the lost city sank beneath the ocean after the cities residents failed to conquer Athens around 9000 BC.
Dr Charles Orser, curator of historical archaeology at New York State University has said:
“The site is one of the most prominent places for the proposed location of Atlantis, as described by the ancient Greek philosopher Plato.”
Google however believe that the image is merely an artifact of the data collection process, not the city of Atlantis.
The underwater image can be found at co-ordinates: 31 15’15.53N 24 15’30.53W.
Atlantis is a fiction city a utopia.

every think was once a story and every think is story an till it is found and some are found ezey and some are found over a long pearoed of time but wonce it is all found it is a true winder
All stories have truth in them, when a man went to greece he arrived at Troy, when he went home he described it as a city of wonders and dreams, where anything can happen. None belived this man. Until a man in the late 1800′s followed this story to greece he spent a fortune looking for it until one day he found the foundation of a wall, this wall’s foundation was of monalith construction, wider than any medieval castle wall foundation. The wall size when recreated on a smaller scale matched those in the story, he found the famed city of Troy. All stories will lead to some truth if you only follow it.
Some people belive that plato was on about a civilisation in the mediterranean, it was an island empire, colinies all over the mediterranean, it was the strongest naval power the mediterranean had ever seen and it was destroyed in one day and one night, the volcano on the empire capital’s island blew it’s top creating a tidalwave strong enough to destroy the island and all of it’s colinies and ships in one day and one night
