With currently over 105,000 followers British actor/comedian/travel connoisseur/TV presenter Stephen Fry has leaped over thousands of veteran Twitterers to become the second most followed individual on behind President Barack Obama…and the man deserves it.
Not only does he use the service without spamming veraciously to his own content but his tweets are often both interesting and amusing. In addition, the celebrity also attempts to reply to followers when he can giving him a very likable persona on the messaging service.
Twitter also owes him a great deal. In recent weeks Fry has used his public persona to promote Twitter in ways most startups could only fantasize about. The promotion has mainly stemmed from the likes of the BBC website/news channel and popular chat show “Friday Night with Jonathan Ross”.
It was only recently that Fry celebrated his 50,000 follower, yet that number has quickly doubled in a matter of days, leaving him clearly ecstatic. Fry took the time to thank his 100,000th follower Hayley Elliot with a personal message and his now infamous kisses:

Cool. He’s a tweet man.
His recent blog piece on twitter is excellent http://www.stephenfry.com/blog/2009/01/29/twitter/- as is the fact he;s turned down a number of press requests for him to write a ‘Fry’s Guide to Twitter’ for them.
ha!
Who is Kevin Rose?
Now this just proves my suspicion that twitter is for people with ocd. If you want to know what I mean check out Stephen Fry’s documentary

Well yeah.. Stephen Fry follows 32056 people. There is NO way he can read all of the tweets they tweet!
Kevin Rose only follows 140 people, that is a regular number people to follow :-)
He apparently is stuck in an elevator (midnight A’dam time) and is tweeting from there live.
