Just when many of us nearly gave up hope, they have done it again. The wonder kids at the iPhone Dev Team have unlocked the iPhone 3G.
I’m sure hundreds of thousands across the globe have been waiting with baited breath for this release and finally, it appears, the time has come. There is one condition however, the unlocking will only work only with iPhone 3Gs with baseband version 2.11.07 or earlier.
The dev team are wrapping up the present as we speak aiming to hand it to us, the consumer, by the 31st of this month.
Full details at the Dev Team Blog.
