Workshop: Hiring and growing inclusively in startups

On April 29th, we'll hold a 2-hour online workshop, aimed at promoting awareness for the relevance of diversity and inclusion for growing startups at all stages and at all times. While almost everything is overshadowed by COVID-19, hiring, sustainable growth, diversity and inclusion are crucial for startups both during and after the current crisis. You'll get a sneak-peak into both cutting-edge research and practical tools to effectively facilitate diversity and inclusion in your company. The workshop is targeted at founders, startup recruiters, HR managers, as well as startup employees or any other interested souls. We'll combine an interactive presentation and a hands-on exercise to make your Zoom-time with us both productive and fun!

Experts

• Dr. Lena Knappert is Assistant Professor of Human Resource Studies at VU University Amsterdam. Her work focuses on workplace diversity, inclusion, and international human resource management.
• Dr. Yuval Engel is Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Amsterdam. Yuval's main research interests are entrepreneurial decision-making under uncertainty and human resources management in startups.
