València: The Mediterranean Tech Gem

València has the fastest growing entrepreneurial ecosystem in Spain and is the city with the most startups per capita. The city has more than 850 registered startups and more than 50% of them develop artificial intelligence, big data, iot and cloud computing. The province of Valencia is the 3rd largest economy in Spain and is among the largest regional economies in the EU. A Mediterranean Tech Gem!

With the universities being amongst the 100 most innovative European universities, the city has more than 3500 engineers and developers graduating yearly, which makes it an attractive city to set-up a tech company.

Some bigger Dutch companies (Helloprint, a subsidiary of the Dutch postal service - PostNL, Rocket and Zeeman) have already moved there to access the city’s talent, and we haven’t even mentioned the city’s great work-life balance!
