During this workshop, Mirjam and Marieke from Settly, will give you a taste of what it’s like to do business amongst or with the Dutch. They’ll be showing you what you should be aware of and how to prepare for day to day business. They will answer questions like what is common in this country? How do you communicate properly according to the Dutch? Should you be aware of any quirky characteristics? What are the do’s and don'ts? And any questions that you might have.

Mirjam van de Ven - is the Client Success Manager at Settly. She's an experienced onboarding specialist who has worked for several international and fast growing start-ups and scale-ups such as Uber, OFO and SkyTeam. Being Dutch, but having lived abroad for 9 years and only having worked at international companies, she can relate to both the Dutch and international way of doing business.
Marieke van Iperen - Co-Founder & CEO of Settly, a digital relocation solution helping companies to attract and retain international talent. Prior to moving back to her homeland (The Netherlands) and and founding Settly ,she worked for companies like: Uber, Starbucks, PwC & Nike in HR across all 5 continents, and experienced first hand what it’s like to live and work in other cultures.
