Black Founders Connect at TNW
Monday, April 11, 2022
On Monday 11th April from 6:30pm, Google for Startups will host an evening of networking for Black Founders at TNW.
We will be hearing from Michael Musandu, co-founder & CEO of Lalaland a recipient of the 2021 Black Founders Fund in Europe which saw 30 Black-led startups raise $63M+ in follow-on funding in 6 months off the back of $2M funding and support they received from Google.
We will also be joined by Christina Calje, seasoned entrepreneur and angel investor, who after the acquisition of her most recent startup Autheos is now focused on the investment space, partnering with industry and governmental organizations to address the funding gap of underrepresented founders in Europe.
We are going to celebrate founder and fundraising journeys, while sharing more information about the second Black Founders Fund in Europe which aims to support 40+ founders with a new $4M Fund. You can learn more about the program and how to apply here.
The Black Founders Fund gives Black-led startups:
- Up to $100,000 in equity-free cash
- The very best of Google’s people, products and best practices
- Up to $200,000 in Cloud Credits
- A global community and support network
Join us to meet other Black Founders, Investors and Operators in the ecosystem!
