Achieving Your Vision with OKRs

The 90-minute OKR workshop combines a conceptual overview of OKRs with real-life examples of how they're used in different companies. The workshop upskills startups on how to write measurable OKRs that are communicated throughout the team, how to prioritize what's most important, and how to avoid common mistakes when writing OKRs (E.g. writing a to-do list instead of focusing on key results that impact an organization). The OKR workshop focuses on practicality and startups actively participate through asking nuanced questions about using OKRs in their organizations.

This workshop is ideal for startups that have tried using OKRs, however the results were not successful OR for startups completely new to OKRs and want to learn the right habits to write OKRs and implement them in their organizations.

- A vision framework that connects your values, purpose, mission, strategy and OKRs

- Examples of some great and not-so-great mission statements

- Introduction to OKRs and why they are important

- OKR best practices and pitfalls

- A working session where you will write your own OKRs and share with the group

Speaker: Ivana Sediva


Ivana Sediva is an experienced leader from Prague, Czech Republic. She has spent almost 30 years on the board level of the top global companies like McDonald's, Tesco or Jonson&Johnson. In the last years she started to mentor startups in the accelerators as well as on the individual base. Ivana combines a unique expertise from both corporate and startup worlds. Her educational background includes postgraduate studies and title from an Artificial Intelligence as well as MBA. Her speciality involves: business and brand vision, purpose, values business and marketing strategies branding and communication team and organisation design and development leadership development incl. role of the founder/ CEO in the evolving organisation influencing and negotiation During her career, Ivana has served mostly as the chief marketing officer. She was also responsible for process and project approach transformations. Her roles involved both local as well as international ones. In the past 5 years, Ivana started to mentor individuals and startups next to her corporate role. Since 2020, she is fully dedicated to this. Ivana is very much customer focused. This serves well her clients, who are benefiting from her customer-centric approach. Due to the diverse background and experience, she is able to provide additional value by highlighting the unseen opportunities and drivers for success. Ivana is a scuba diver and lives in a family of 7 people, 2 dogs and a parrot.
