It’s hard to image a world without Yelp. Love or hate the reviews written by average people, it’s a good indicator if a restaurant is at least palatable.
Today, the crowd-sourced reviews service is celebrating its 10th birthday with some interesting data nuggets. For example, there are over 61 million reviews on the site, and approximately 24,000 photos are uploaded every day via Yelp’s mobile app.
And because companies love infographics, here’s one filled with big moments from Yelp’s history.
Today’s inforgraphic-filled celebration comes on the heels of Foursquare launching its updated app with a focus on location-based recommendations. In addition to searching for place of business, Foursquare surfaces places you might like based on previous check-ins.
