Chinese man has a novel approach to VR immersion

If virtual reality really is the future, this guy is going to be one ripped mofo.

Spotted by Japanese blog ToyChan, this Chinese roller coaster simulation takes a decidedly low-tech approach to futuristic gaming. Rather than shelling out thousands for a futuristic rig, like this, a Chinese man takes the manual approach.

While one man — a customer, from the looks of it — dons a VR headset, another — an employee, perhaps — moves what looks to be a metal platform around to mimic the screen’s movements.

It’s not the most elegant approach, but it seems to get the job done.
