When you think of Black Friday shopping on Amazon, it’s normally for a nice pair of headphones or a solid discount on a laptop. The company’s best sale might be something more immaterial, however: unlimited cloud storage for a year for $5, down from $60.
And no, not just for photos. Amazon already provides its Prime subscribers with unlimited storage for images, but that only includes 5 GB for videos, documents and other miscellaneous files. For more, you’d normally have to pony up the full $60.
Keep in mind that storage is a yearly subscription; Amazon won’t delete your files, but if you want to keep adding files after a year, you’ll likely have to pay $60 in 2016.
Still, a 92 percent discount is pretty nifty, and unlimited file storage can help you back files up in a pinch if you don’t have an external hard drive lying around. You can check out the offer at the source link below.
