Bored? Play multiplayer Boggle with this Twitter bot

My mind boggles daily, such is the intoxicating nature of the internet, but if you want to put your brain to something other than browsing or actually doing work, here’s another distraction: A Boggle-playing Twitter bot.

Botgle was built by Colin Mitchell and does just what you’d expect. Every few hours, it generates a new grid of letters, mimicking the classic game.

The account’s Twitter followers then have a limited amount of time to submit words and gain points. The person with the most wins. The kicker? Words can only be submitted once.

Of course, the way the Boggle bot is set up means you need to spot a game has started pretty quickly to take part, but Mitchell says he’s got bigger plans including seasons and proper scoreboards in mind for the future.
