Drone Clash is like BattleBots in the sky

Drone Clash is like BattleBots in the sky

You know what’s cooler than fighting robots? Fighting robots that can fly.

Dutch organizers are putting together possibly the coolest drone event to date. Drone Clash features four teams each allowed as many drones as they’d like (but only one FPV video stream per team) with a simple mission: destroy anything that moves. And if that weren’t enough, the battleground is actually two distinct areas with the ‘Hallway of Doom, Death and Destruction’ separating them.

The goal is to wipe out the enemy pilots, all while defending your hive with the ‘Queen,’ your primary drone. Taking down hostile drones and attacking the enemy hive is the path to victory.

It looks pretty badass…

You can catch the event in person, if you’re in Amsterdam on December 4. Everyone else will have to wait patiently for the footage to hit YouTube.
