Zune Marketplace’s International Debut Details

With October imminent as the Windows Phone 7 debut month, Microsoft is putting the together the other crucial aspect of their mobile platform – their entertainment service, Zune.

Zune Marketplace was expected to go international before Windows Phone 7’s launch and now Microsoft has detailed their expansion plans. Most of Europe and Australia will be able to make purchases and rent movies via the Zune Marketplace.

The prices for Zune Pass are:

  • Europe: 9.99 Euros or 8.99 Pounds per month for unlimited download and streaming.
  • US: $14.99 per month for unlimited download and streaming along with ability to keep 10 MP3s per month.
