If you’re one to take a video and upload it to YouTube, the process is now much simpler on iOS. An update brings in more Material Design, and some native editing tools.

The designed was inspired by discovery, where YouTube thinks you’ll now be able to find content better. Favorite channels, recommended videos and subscriptions can now be accessed via swipe or tapping an icon; the hamburger menu is dead.

The editing tools are simple, but effective. You can trim video or add a soundtrack, and even add filters as needed.

YouTube is available for free in the App Store.
