Usually, sand art brings memories of glass jars filled with swirly multicolored grains. While fun to create, these “masterpieces” aren’t exactly visually stimulating. Which is why after realizing I had zoned out to Natalya Netselya’s incredible Uncharted 3 sand art video on the PlayStation blog, I just knew I had to share it with our readers.
Using a series of quick hand techniques involving the tips of her fingers to fist-fulls of sand, Netselya crafts various scenes from PlayStation’s Uncharted 3 title atop a lightbox. The result is mesmerizing to watch in action.
