You can now “Phone in a Blog Post” on WordPress.com

Although we’ve given WordPress.com a hard time of late for its shaky uptime, it’s unquestionably one of the most innovative progressive products out there and its latest release highlights that perfectly.

WordPress.com has just enabled a “Phone Your Blog” feature that lets you simply call a specific number, insert a unique code and post by voice to your blog. There’s no transcription of sorts just yet but it does swiftly embed an audio file onto your blog post and and is added to your RSS feed for podcast support.

To enable the feature, You can now go to your My Blogs tab, enable Post by Voice, and get a special number and code to call your blog. The service is completely free up to sixty minutes.
