Yoast has updated its WordPress SEO plugin with new content analysis features in partnership with Linkdex.

According to Yoast’s announcement, the WordPress SEO plugin is now sporting a new Page Analysis tab, which runs a series of tests on your body content and provides suggestions that’ll improve your piece’s success in search engine rankings.

For instance, the plugin now runs a Flesch Reading Ease test, checks for headings, images and links, keyword density, and a variety of other keyword-related checks.

Although Linkdex is a premium service that requires a paid subscription, the WordPress SEO will remain free and open-source, said Joost de Valk, Yoast’s owner, in a blog post.
