Technology writer David Pogue has announced he’s leaving the New York Times after thirteen years, taking up a new position at Yahoo to “build a new consumer-tech site.”
While details are scant, both Pogue and Marissa Mayer, in a separate post, revealed he will be responsible for expanding their tech coverage on Yahoo, with columns, blogs posts and videos that “demystify the gadgets, apps and technology that powers our users’ daily lives.”
Pogue will be taking up his new role in the next few weeks.
