After acquiring Aviate earlier this year, Yahoo today released the Android homescreen service out of beta. The service, available only in English at the moment, aggregates your personal and local data to your device’s homescreen to help organize your day.

Some of the data you’ll see on the homescreen includes weather forecasts, email shortcuts, transit information and calendar. The service will adjust information displayed according to time of day and your calendar appointments to anticipate your next moves.

Aviate can also list your most popular contacts under Favorites to make every action less than two clicks away. Additionally, the service will display twice-daily news summary so you can catch up with the day’s headlines on the go.
