World’s first known news broadcast shot entirely using the iPad 2

Fox 4 in South Texas broadcasted the first known news story from the iPad 2 yesterday as part of a St. Patrick’s day segment.

Reporter Mike McNeil broadcasted his piece from a liquor store and proved he was using the device by showing off his iPad 2 box. McNeil joking added that “all the experts who know how to shoot these stories, are out on real stories” so he fired up his iPad 2.
