This is a cool project from some talented Toy Story fans. It’s a shot-by-shot re-creation of the Pixar classic made with real toys instead of computer animation. This segment is just a sneak preview as the project is still underway, but the sequence is done pretty darn well.

You can follow the Live Action Toy Story project right here on Facebook. And it looks like at least one Pixar employee isn’t upset that they’re taking this project on as we picked up on it after it was tweeted by Lee Unkrich, director of Toy Story 3. If you’re a Pixar fan, you should also follow Unkrich’s tumblr, as he has just been assigned to a new Pixar project and will be posting photos throughout the production.
