The long speculation on when is the Windows Phone 7 launch seems to have come to an end.

October 11, 2010 is the date when Microsoft plans to officially announce the platform, some devices from OEM partners and US carrier. According to an email invite sent out and shared by Engadget, the event will be held at Microsoft’s New York City Technology Center.

T-Mobile representation pretty much confirms T-Mobile as one of the carriers in the US. We’ve posted AT&T’s advertisements for Windows Phone 7 which show HTC as their device.
