Any Windows user will have been hit with an update prompt at the worst possible time at least once. For me, as I was sitting at the start of a press conference at Mobile World Congress one year it once automatically installed a downloaded update. Not entirely convenient, Windows.
However, KCCI weather reporter Metinka Slater has a more embarrassing example than most, as a Windows 10 upgrade prompt appeared right in the middle of her weather report. But what did she do?
The same thing most Windows users do whenever they see an upgrade prompt. She ignored it, and they switched to a different feed.
