It’s been nearly a year since celebrated Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata passed away last July at the age of 55. He made his company a household name with hit game franchises like Mario and iconic handheld devices and consoles.
Today, the Game Developers Choice Awards crew honored the industry maven with an animated short chronicling some of Iwata’s greatest innovations.
It’s a fitting tribute to his legacy as a creative genius, a fearless leader and more importantly, a gamer at heart.
