No, this is not a scene out of a ‘Star Wars’ movie: drone racing has just started getting really insane.

The 2015 US National Drone Racing Championships, held in Sacramento California last week, hosted 120 pilots from all over to test their flying skills on an obstacle-ridden course. The super-fast, crazy exciting drone races have blown up on Reddit’s /r/gifs.

The lap of the course was done in less than 20 seconds. Not bad considering drone racing involves simultaneously flying the thing and viewing the action via the attached camera without being blown away by the fast action.

There was also a lot of wreckage — drone racing is a rough sport.
