Watch the new Apple VP of Technology smash up iPhones back in 2009

Ever had the feeling that something that you’ve done online might come back to embarrass you? Like a Facebook status update, perhaps a blog post, or a YouTube video?

Apple-focused blogger John Gruber — of Daring Fireball fame — spotted this video of Kevin Lynch, the soon to be VP of Technology for Apple, doing all kinds of destructive things to an iPhone to (jokingly) get it to run Flash. The video was filmed in 2009 during his tenure at Adobe, where he was most recently CTO; Lynch is well known as a staunch advocate of Flash.

Lynch may not be embarrassed by the video, but it sure is funny to think that a man who took part in a MythBusters parody would go on to join the very company that he mocked.
