US President Barack Obama made history yesterday when he took part in a Google+ hangout with five lucky participants who quizzed the President on a number of topics and questions.

Google has now released the full video of hangout, which included questions that were submitted to the White House YouTube channel, which Google revealed saw 250,000 visits as members of the public clamoured to pose questions to the President.

In the video the President discusses jobs, manufacturing in America, startups and other topics that were raised in his State of the Union address, which itself was a hugely social event. One interesting moment saw Obama pledge to help find one participant’s engineer husband a job.
