Microsoft has released an unboxing video for the Xbox One today, giving gamers a crucial first glimpse of what they can expect in the final retail version.
Presented by Lawrence ‘Major Nelson’ Hyrb, Director of Programming for Microsoft, there are few surprises here: the next generation Kinect sensor, chat headset and controller all come in their own little plastic bag, alongside the highly anticipated Xbox One console and some instruction manuals which no-one really cares about.
The video examines the limited edition ‘Day One’ version of the console, which has some additional branding and an exclusive achievement. The Xbox One is yet to receive an official release date, but we’re expecting it to go on sale for $499 in most regions during November.
