To celebrate its third anniversary on January 24, Vine today announced the launch of its Trends page, which highlights clips that are going viral on the social network.
Many of the Web’s most popular memes last year grew on Vine, such as “On Fleek,” “Why You Always Lying,” and “Duck Army.” With Trends on Vine, users can select a growing trend, track related Vines and see the original video that started it all.
To commemorate 2015, Vine also released a playlist of its most looped vines in the past 12 months. At the number one spot is the clip that showed the moment a bomb went off during the Paris attacks this past November.
The clip also quickly became Vine’s most looped video of all time, which goes to show that even though memes and trends are commonly born on Vine, it’s also a platform for sharing incredibly powerful moments.
