Should you be interested, the first video uploaded to YouTube was entitled “Me at the zoo”, and shows founder Jawed Karim at San Diego Zoo.

The video was uploaded on April 23, 2005 and thankfully is still available for the world to see today. While clearly not the most fascinating of videos, it is pretty remarkable how integral YouTube has become in such a short space of time. Today, not five years later, every minute, ten hours of video is uploaded to YouTube.
