Yesterday, Twitter and MediaSift announced a partnership at the Data2Con conference, San Francisco to resell the Twitter firehose data. This will enable MediaSift to make parts of the Twitter fire hose commercially available, serving the analytics market Twitter can’t serve themselves. TweetMeme is the consumer facing service from MediaSift founded by British entrepreneur Nick Halstead.
