    In a YouTube video by Mobile Future, we learn what we all may have guessed: 2010 was the year mobile connected the world.

    Some highlights of the video include a massive increase in apps downloaded this year, in fact 5 billion apps were downloaded in 2010, up from 300 million in 2009. 2010 saw a huge expansion of location-based services with 5 million Foursquare users, up from 200,000 in 2009.

    2010 saw a 347% increase in Twitter mobile usage and 200 million mobile Facebook users. There were 100 million YouTube videos played on mobile devices…everyday.
