Viber and BuzzFeed partner to give readers a line to the editorial team

Viber and BuzzFeed partner to give readers a line to the editorial team

Calling and messaging app Viber has announced today that BuzzFeed will be making use of its Public Chats feature to give readers another way to interact with the editorial team behind the site’s top stories.

Announced today, the deal follows the introduction of Viber Public Chats in November last year and promises to give the site’s fans an inside line to the site’s social media editors, moderators and editorial team.

For clarity, it doesn’t actually allow users to chat with the team directly, but does allow you to follow the chat in real-time and ‘like’ comments, pictures, links and anything else that is posted.
