Verizon iPhone 4 Pre-order Begins Online Tomorrow Morning

Verizon iPhone 4 Pre-order Begins Online Tomorrow Morning

Apple has just confirmed that pre-orders for the Verizon iPhone 4 will be available at 3am eastern time tomorrow morning, giving Verizon customers the opportunity to get a one of a limited quantity of iPhone 4 devices set aside purely for existing customers.

The exclusive offer is available online only, with prices starting at $199.99 for the 16GB iPhone 4 or $299.99 for the 32GB model with customers required to sign a two-year contract. Successful pre-orders will be shipped to customers on or before February 10.

To pre-order the new Verizon iPhone 4, customers need to visit the Apple Store or www.verizonwireless.com/iphone from 3am EST tomorrow. It is thought that an earlier pre-order time is to reduce the ability for residents in the west from ordering all of the stock before other customers get the chance.

General online pre-orders and store reservations will become available on February 9, with Apple’s retail stores opening at 7am on February 10.

“We appreciate our many customers who told us that iPhone 4 should be on the nation’s most reliable network,” said Dan Mead, chief executive officer for Verizon Wireless.  “We heard them and we agreed, which is why we are letting them be among the first to own an iPhone 4 on the Verizon Wireless network.  We thought it fitting to say thank you to our customers by giving them the phone they want, a week before the general population.”
