Universal Studios picks up Aaron Sorkin’s Steve Jobs movie, Michael Fassbender to star

Last week, we heard that the Aaron Sorkin-penned Steve Jobs movie had been dropped by Sony but could be picked up by Universal. And lo, it’s come to pass. A studio spokesperson has confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the deal is done.

Danny Boyle is still on board as director. Michael Fassbender has been attached to star as Jobs. Seth Rogen is reportedly set to join the cast as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, while Jessica Chastain is in line to play Jobs’s daughter, Lisa.
