UK supermarket Tesco has today announced the first proper release of its Groceries shopping app for Google Glass, following on from its early beta version first revealed last year.

To use it, just like any other Glass app, you say “Ok Glass” and then either “Find a product” or “Scan a barcode”. Of course, if you tell it to find a product, you need to actually tell it which one to find too.

OK, so perhaps there aren’t quite as many Glass wearers in the UK as the US, but anything that helps avoid running out of milk is welcomed around here. Even if I would feel a bit stupid actually using it.
